My Story

Hailing from Ann Arbor, Michigan, Eric is an Associate at Rudy Winstead Turner, PLLC where he uses his prior experience in business and commercial litigation to represent and advise his clients in a wide variety of transactional matters, including assisting start-ups and other emerging companies in selecting and forming business entities to best suit their needs, as well as and drafting and evaluating contracts.

Beyond transactional work, Eric represents and assists clients in formal administrative proceedings, and in mediation and arbitration. In addition, Eric counsels clients with various hospitality and alcoholic beverage law issues, and those who are seeking to enter into the hemp and cannabis industries.

Eric graduated from the University of Colorado with a B.A. in psychology before attending law school at the University of Tennessee, where he earned his law degree in 2015. Eric lives in Nashville with his wife, Eileen, their two cats Zoey and Olive, and their dog, Waffles. When he is not at the office, Eric can be found doing his best Chris Osgood impression between the pipes at the Sportsplex, hunting for his tee shot in the trees at McCabe, or commiserating about the state of his beloved Buffs, Vols, or Red Wings to anyone who will listen.
